A grand, ornate library hall within the University of Michigan’s had a sidequave ceiling and walls covered in dark wood paneling with many large windows on one side. The space was filled with rows of long tables made from light wooden planks with brass legs that seated multiple chairs each, all lit by chandeliers hanging above them. In front of these tables stood two bookshelves, also made out of thick wooden panels with glass doors at their top to display books. There should be no people present. –ar 128:85
